Drill Camp
The NU Drill Camp (NUDC) is a two-week camp designed for high schools students interested in expanding their knowledge of military drill and ceremonies as well as developing their physical, mental, and moral character. NUDC offers instruction in:
- Armed and unarmed basic drill
- Armed exhibition
- Color Guard
- Sword Manual
- Firing Parties
- Inspection
NUDC is not a military-style boot camp for students with disciplinary problems.
There is no glory in practice, but without practice, there is no glory.

Applicants must possess a minimum GPA of 2.5, a strong work ethic and serious desire to learn or improve their skills. Junior ROTC, Civil Air Patrol, Young Marines and Sea Cadets are encouraged to apply.
Dates for 2009
June 29 - July 12, 2009
Cost is $1,255, which includes uniforms, a dorm room, meals, and all activities.
