Phase III (Future Leaders Training)
During the spring semester, the Commandant’s Office conducts promotion boards and announces key leader promotions. Once promulgated, the incoming and outgoing leaders share information, reviewing continuity files and unit standard operating procedures.
The Commandant’s Office and Cadet Leaders devote one hour per day (1830–1930) to conducting a training assessment, establishing goals and objectives, preparing tentative plans for the next fall, and tailoring leadership training for specific focus groups. This activity is all focused on providing tactics, techniques, and procedures for success in their newly assigned roles and responsibilities.
