Class reunions provide a special time for alumni to remember their years at Norwich and to return to the campus during Homecoming Weekend. It is also a time to join together with your classmates to celebrate memories and to make a reunion gift to the University. If Norwich made a difference in your life, now is the time to give back by making a gift or pledge to the University in honor of your reunion!
If your class year ends in an “8” or a “3” this is a reunion year for you. Be sure to mark Homecoming Weekend on your calendar: Sept. 19–21, 2008
Gifts and pledges received by Norwich University from you and your classmates by Sept. 19, 2008 will count toward your class gift and participation totals. Donors to the class reunion effort are listed in the Norwich University Annual Report, which recognizes gifts received by the University between June 1 and May 31 each year. Gifts and pledges of more than $1,000 may be eligible for naming opportunities and Partridge Society membership.
A Volunteer Gift Committee, supported by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, oversees the reunion gift effort for each reunion class. To find out who in your class is serving on this committee or to learn more about reunion giving, contact Tracey Poirier at 802.485.2308 or tpoirier@norwich.edu.
All gifts and pledges are important to the future strength of Norwich. And the University recognizes reunion classes every year at Homecoming for total dollars raised and the percentage of participating alumni. Visit the Norwich Family Online Community to see the current participation rate of your reunion class.
